      What's New at The Toy Program
      While the victims of the Camp Fire are still trying to rebuild their lives, Cal Fire has teamed up with the San Francisco Fire Department to help make the process a little easier during the holidays.   At the San Francisco Toy Headquarters Friday morning, firefighters gathered toys for the 315 students at Ponderosa Elementary School who were displaced by the Camp Fire.       Over 50 years ago, the San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program started when a few local firefighters wanted to help some families that lost their homes and all of their possessions when a fire destroyed everything that they owned. These firefighters were inspired to help – so they decided to fix up a few bikes and delivered them on Christmas Eve to the homes of the children.
